tangela

I used a tad bit of construction in this, as a result, it made the process a lot more comfortable.

fur/hair colour studies

These are some fur/hair colour studies using an colour overlay feature I've self taught with internet resources. I find the less immediate contrast in saturation seems to prove the most effective for a "natural" look. However I need to practice my organisation skills when drawing, as my process seemed too chaotic and as a result, difficult to replicate without some immediate frustration.

This was an attempt at a more organised render of fur, although I found I had spaced my layers out too far producing a less organic impression.

lifedrawing 15/11/19

Since completing Inktober this year, I've been spending my time working on my construction skills and continued with my weekly lifedrawing classes. This is an oil painting from a 2 hour long pose that I had the opportunity to paint in the monthly all day life drawing class. I haven't and won't be uploading much to my blog for a while as the majority of my work will be drawing exercises in my book and life drawing practice. This being said, I will try to keep some digital work flowing in and out of my blog.
