Playing with a few ideas for a space cowgirl

I want to improve my practice of generating visual ideas; I plan to spend some more time churning out as many ideas in the evenings as I can and process them through tone studies and constructing them in 3d space.

I spent some time on a comission experimenting with the use of gradients in photoshop. I learnt a lot and spent a while researching the forms of these pokemon. I'm especialy happy with the Lycanroc as the fur was particularly challenging and I spent the majority of my time researching and contructing these.

I'm practicing quadrapeds for a comission, this is a rough of arcanine. I feel I need to practice more with my contrast of blending and sharp cuts when painting; this is something I'm currently working on improving.

Practicing some 'mons for a comission, my technical drawing is getting better; I need to not let it hinder my gesture in my drawings. I'm going to try and spend some more time digital painting, improving my techniques and try to create more fluid, yet in form paintings.
