This last image is from a drawing course I have started and intend to continue with into summer. The teacher, Julia Hawkins, teaches fine art, of which I believe I will learn a great deal from.

I enjoyed the challenge of the folds in clothes. This is something I haven't had much experience with; I want to spend more time improving upon.

I felt pretty burnt out during lifedrawing class; these are from sitting in starbucks for an hour prior.

I experimented with a new pen today, it's a soft chisel tip faber castell pen. The pen took some getting used to but I enjoyed having fun with the markmaking.

The top sketch is my favourite from todays life drawing class in CassArt. I believe it was my particular attention to solid shapes and block lighting coupled with pushing these aspects into design that really added interest.

I thought I would try my childhood favourite wax crayons; I've enjoyed this as it's not very forgiving yet provides limited tones with an intereseting texture!

I think I'm starting to get a better grasp on gesture, shadow shapes and fitting the whole of the model. However, I'm starting to find it more difficult later refining the details.
