In our group we each created a mood board for our project, mine involved 18th century traditional Moroccan clothes, as well as some design elements I hope to include in the project such as the colour scheme and transitioning of time passage in "Little Boat".
For our project, retelling the story of Thomas Pellow, I've been allocated the position of background artist and research in design. From this I initiated my research on patterns and styles associated with Moroccan culture. I found various images and made a few simple patterns to emulate this. I quite like the symmetry and design of the patterns, but I feel that I should of used a bigger canvas to allow for a more intricate design.
